A Note From the Writer’s Desk
January 22, 2024: It has been a while since I've sat at my computer. It's also been a while since I've put words down on paper. I had quite the surprise last January; a breast cancer diagnosis. So, I spent the bulk of the year doing all the things one does to fight the invasive thing; surgery, chemo and radiation. My body did not like chemo, so, like many others, I had to deal with side effects that were not so pleasant. I still have ideas and stories swirling in my head and hopefully I will start putting those words down and have a better year. I hope we all have a year filled with love, kindness, prosperity, and above all, good health. Love and light, Crystal

I was born Crystal Diane Eldridge in Wise County, Virginia. Although I live in the Midwest, my heart remains back home. Most of my stories reflect on my Appalachian roots.
